Q4 2020 Horror Game Performance on iOS in Brazil: A Sensor Tower Analysis

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Brazilian iOS gaming market saw varied performances among the top horror game applications. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into these trends, showcasing how each game fared in terms of downloads and user engagement.

Granny, developed by Dennis Vukanovic, maintained a steady presence with its downloads peaking at 2.1K in the last week of December, up from 1.5K in mid-December. The weekly active users followed a similar trend, increasing from 7K to 8.4K in the same period.

Dead by Daylight Mobile by Behaviour Interactive Inc. showed fluctuating revenue, with the highest at $1.4K during late October, and ended the quarter with $592. Downloads saw an uptick in the final week of December, reaching 2.1K, while weekly active users grew from 5.5K to 6.3K.

Scary Teacher 3D by GenITeam LLC demonstrated resilience with its downloads increasing from 1K to 1.6K, while active users surged from 5.5K to 9.6K in December. The game's revenue also saw a modest increase, ending the quarter at $141.
